I passed underneath a viaduct that had been painted by the community and local businesses. Like most murals of this kind, it depicted residents participating in good deeds and having a good time in their neighborhood. At one time someone must have drawn penises in the mouths of the subjects. I believe the silver spray paint around the mouths of the two basketball players is hiding a crudely drawn dick. The mural was about 30-40 ft. long and almost every mouth was joined with a silver phallus. One notable exception is the blue haired boy with his eye poked out. The vandal first painted blood filling the eye socket, and then in a grand and expressive gesture, chipped out the cartoons eye. Genius. What a telling gesture of a sexually repressed youth. This is right down the street from the tagged mexi-morial that I posted previously. Could the same vandal be at work?
